Attorney Elizabeth C. Ketterson is a Partner at The Pollock Firm LLC who advises clients in matters related to estate planning, probate, estate administration, and trust administration.
Elizabeth grew up in Bernardsville, NJ and graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1990 with a B.A. in International Relations. In 1993, she earned her Juris Doctor from New England School of Law in Boston and received the Bureau of National Affairs Award. After graduating, Elizabeth opened her own firm In Boston with a concentration in divorce and child custody. Cognizant of clients’ need for guidance with respect to asset protection and wealth management, she naturally broadened her practice to include estate planning.
After returning to New Jersey, Elizabeth joined The Pollock Firm LLC in 2009. She is currently Director of the firm’s Estate Administration & Probate Department. Her broad experience in family and estate matters enables her to represent Executors, Administrators, Trustees, and beneficiaries with compassion and meaningful practical advice.
Elizabeth also assists clients of all wealth levels with developing customized estate plans. This includes the drafting of Wills, Trusts, financial powers of attorney, and Living Wills. Regardless of a client’s life stage, Elizabeth’s fundamental belief is that everyone has wealth – extending beyond assets and income to health, skills, family and community passions – all of it deserving of respect and protection.
Elizabeth is a member of the Mercer County Estate Planning Council, the Mercer County Bar (Probate Committee), the New Jersey State Bar (Real Property, Trusts & Estate Law, Women in the Profession), and the Princeton-Mercer Regional Chamber. Elizabeth is also part of a professional women’s group known as the Women’s Divorce Alliance, which helps women who are navigating the divorce process to become better educated in topics such as estate planning, finance, real estate, asset valuation, insurance, and mental health.
